TurboCrib : A Quick Look

Cribbage for the 21st Century.

TurboCrib first broke ground, very much by accident, amid the clamor of commerce at The Cottage Inn, an establishment in the fashion (and passion!) of an English pub, located in Kila, Montana, USA. The fine ales found there lubricated the creative process.

From the outset we steadfastly held to a personal mandate that "TurboCrib remain a game of cribbage." Be assured that players still need good fortune and, especially, solid cribbage skills. What's more, players now vie for larger scores, more often, all the while maneuvering for tactical advantage. With luck and guile you can pluck a victory from what seems a lost game. -DR-

You will need a solid basis in standard cribbage to play. By the way, you can play standard cribbage on our set. We predict, however, you won't go back once you get started in TurboCrib.

Basic TurboCrib is standard cribbage and much more. You use a 52-card deck plus the two Jokers and six pegs: two galleons (tallest) and two anchors for scoring; two wickets (shortest) as circuit markers.

Advanced TurboCrib. Combine your skills from basic TurboCrib with the idea that the difference in the galleon and anchor, along with their orientation at the finish, is now pivotal to the game.
