Advanced TurboCrib -

Use your skills from basic TurboCrib with the idea that the difference between the galleon and anchor, along with their orientation at the finish, is now pivotal to the game.

  • For scorekeeping, each player uses a galleon and an anchor.
  • Begin the game pegging with your galleon; you must peg out with it as well. This creates chances for deep tactical play and skullduggery.
  • You can play Aces a third way, null, with a value of 0 (zero).
  • You can sacrifice a Joker from your hand to reverse your opponent's pegs - a critical tactic in a tight finish because players can peg out only with galleons.
  • "The Brigand's Booty" is your opportunity to steal points from your opponent when he has enough to win but can't because he's pegging out with his anchor. Again, this presents you with plenty of opportunities to exhibit your tactical brilliance such as forcing a game extension when your opponent is about to win!
  • Refer to your Official Rules Booklet.

Now, unfurl your sails and ride the winds of a scoring tempest!
