The 'Null Ace'

The Ace is now complete.

Null Aces have value of zero (0) and make "wrap-around" runs.

  • In pegging rounds, when you play a null Ace the score remains the same - you announce "Naught for... " and repeat the current score.
  • In pegging rounds, play a null Ace at '15' or '31' and score 2pts.
  • Null Aces make wrap-around runs using {J,Q,K,,2,3,4}. You need at least {K,A,2} to qualify as a wrap-around run.
  • In pegging rounds, play a null Ace with a group that makes '15' and score another '15'. For example, with {Q,K,A,2,3}, when the Ace is played null, you score 13pts because the Ace groups to double the number of 15's and there is a run of 5.
